Our Purpose
Right now, over 100,000 children are being trafficked across America. At New Day for Children, we believe every one of them deserves rescue, restoration, and a future filled with hope.

Our bold vision is to continue expanding our network of trusted partner programs nationwide and ensure that every rescued child receives the safety, care, healing, and fresh start they deserve.

Featured Speaker: Marshae

Marshae Rogers, a Chicago native, is a remarkable and inspiring young woman whose story embodies resilience and hope. At just 13, her life was changed forever, but through courage, determination, and the support of New Day for Children, she transformed her journey from adversity to healing and empowerment.

A year after graduating from the program, Marshae is close to completing her Associate’s degree in Business Administration. Her journey toward healing has been guided by vital resources and fueled by her unwavering commitment to personal and spiritual growth.

Known for her tenacity and quiet compassion, Marshae has a deep passion for helping those around her rise above their circumstances and pursue their dreams. She is driven by a profound desire to help children who have experienced trafficking find safety and healing in care programs - just like the one that was vital to her own recovery. Marshae’s purpose is deeply rooted in giving back, using both her voice and her future career to uplift the next generation of survivors. She truly embodies the heart and spirit of a Servant Leader.

Featured Speaker: Megan

Megan Simmons is the Academic Coordinator and Instructor at Metanoia Manor, one of New Day for Children’s partner programs. Located in South Louisiana, Metanoia Manor serves girls recovering from the trauma of sex trafficking, offering them a safe space to heal and rebuild their lives.

As a Certified Trauma and Resilience Specialist in Education (CTRS-E), Megan works to create strong, supportive learning environments for vulnerable youth, driven by a passion for helping each child reclaim their identity and purpose.
Megan’s passion for her students is evident as she explains, “Through education, students gain the power to reclaim their identities and rise above those who have attempted to degrade and devalue them. Their academic pursuits and successes are living proof that their worth is theirs to own and that they are much more than victims of their past.”

Megan also deeply values the partnership between Metanoia Manor and New Day for Children, saying, “NDC has given hope to our students for a bright future that is uniquely theirs. Working towards the rehabilitation and empowerment of children who have faced exploitation is not a solo mission, and NDC offers a lifeline to survivors and the facilities serving their needs.”

Known for her big heart and unwavering dedication, Megan is deeply committed to helping her students thrive. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their beloved Goldendoodle.
