Rylee Issac, a New Day for Children alumna, and her mother, Cara Issac, a former law enforcement professional, will share their powerful story of resilience, strength, and healing.
Rylee Isaac Cara Issac
Cara Isaac spent 28 years in law enforcement as a Police Dispatch Supervisor, helping others navigate crisis situations. As a foster and adoptive mother, she faced a deeply personal journey when her daughter’s early trauma began to surface in challenging ways during her teenage years.
Reflecting on that time, Cara shares, “It was a humbling and terrifying experience realizing that even with knowledge and connections, families can still feel helpless.” Through New Day for Children, her family found not only critical resources, but renewed hope, along with access to life-changing care that is often financially out of reach for most families facing similar circumstances.
Today, Cara shares her story to raise awareness and advocate for families walking this path, reminding us that every child deserves the chance to heal and thrive.
